Unlocks Legend Island
Wristbands are FH6's main progression system for the Horizon Festival campaign. There are 7 tiers, each unlocking new race events with higher car class requirements. Earn the Gold Wristband to become a Horizon Legend and unlock the game's endgame area: Legend Island.
Don't confuse Wristbands with Stamps
Wristbands and Discover Japan Stamps are two completely separate progression systems. Stamps unlock Barn Finds. Wristbands unlock race tiers and Legend Island. Festival Points (from the yellow H icon events) progress wristbands — exploration activities progress stamps. The 7 Stamp levels are: Visitor → Sightseer → Traveller → Pathfinder → Navigator → Adventurer → Master Explorer. These names appear in your in-game Collection Journal.
All 7 wristband tiers
Yellow Wristband — Visitor
Starting tier · Complete the Horizon Qualifiers and Invitational
You arrive in Japan as a tourist and must qualify for the Horizon Festival. Complete the Horizon Qualifiers followed by the Horizon Invitational to earn your first wristband.
✓ Unlocks: Horizon Festival access · First Barn Find rumor (Honda NSX-R GT)
Green Wristband
Complete Road and Dirt Festival events
Participate in Road races and Dirt events around Japan. Any event with a yellow H icon and point value contributes to wristband progress. Complete PR Stunts between events to fill progress faster.
✓ Unlocks: C-D Class events · 2 more Barn Find rumors
Blue Wristband
Cross Country events added · B Class access
Cross Country races are introduced. Spread your racing across event types — the system rewards variety, so your 1st Dirt race gives more progress than your 50th Road race.
✓ Unlocks: B Class events · Time Attack Circuits
Pink Wristband
Drag Meets added · A Class access
Drag Meets and more Street Races become available. A Class events begin — this is the mid-game transition point. Smash XP bonus boards as you encounter them since they contribute small amounts of wristband progress.
✓ Unlocks: A Class events · Drag Meets · 4 Barn Find rumors (Pink)
Orange Wristband
S1 Class unlocked
S1 Class events become available. This is where tuning becomes critical — S1 power outputs can overwhelm RWD builds without proper tire and suspension setup.
✓ Unlocks: S1 Class events · Street Racing expanded
Purple Wristband
S2 Class events · approaching Gold
S2 hypercars are now competitive. Festival Points accumulate faster but the Gold requirement is steep — you must earn 32,500 total Festival Points to reach Gold. Diversify your events here.
✓ Unlocks: S2 Class events · expanded Touge Showdowns
Gold Wristband — Horizon Legend ★
32,500 Festival Points total · Final Wristband Event required
The pinnacle. Reach 32,500 Horizon Festival Points and complete the Gold Wristband event to become a Horizon Legend. Winning races alone won't be enough — you need a mix of race types, PR Stunts, and skill activities to hit this total efficiently.
★ Unlocks: Legend Island · R Class events · Colossus race · exclusive Legend Island rewards
Legend Island — what's there
Legend Island
Southeast corner of the Japan map · unlocks at Horizon Legend status
Legend Island is the only part of the FH6 map locked behind progression. It's a secondary festival outpost exclusive to Horizon Legends. Temper expectations slightly — it's rewarding for completionists but not overwhelmingly large.
The ColossusThe longest race ever in a Horizon game — loops the entire Japanese freeway system. 10+ minutes per lap.
Legend Island CircuitExclusive circuit race not available anywhere else on the map.
New XP BoardsA fresh set of untouched XP boards exclusive to the island.
Exclusive rewardsUnique car rewards tied to Legend Island achievements.
Fastest ways to earn Festival Points
Festival Points come from every activity with a yellow H icon. The key insight: variety earns more than grinding one event type.

Your 50th Road Race gives far fewer Festival Points than your 1st Dirt Race. If your wristband progress feels slow, switch disciplines. Do a few Time Attack Circuits. Enter a Drag Meet. Try Cross Country. Each new activity type gives disproportionate points toward the next tier.
