FH6 launches with 618 cars across 7 performance classes — the largest day-one roster in Horizon series history. Given the Japan setting, JDM manufacturers dominate, with Honda, Nissan, and Toyota among the largest individual lineups. This guide explains every unlock method so you know where to find any specific car before spending a single credit.
Check Car Collection before buying anything
Pause → Cars → Car Collection shows every car in the game with its unlock source listed directly. Before spending credits on any car in the Autoshow, check this screen — a car listed as "Festival Playlist" is free during its active week. A car listed as "Wheelspin" may be cheaper on the Auction House than its Autoshow price.

Wheelspin-exclusive cars not in Autoshow
Some cars can only be won from Wheelspins — they're not purchasable in the Autoshow at all. If you get a duplicate Wheelspin car you don't want, check the Auction House price before deleting it. Some rare Wheelspin cars sell for millions.

15 cars — Discover Japan Stamps unlock
These 15 cars require Stamp progression to unlock and restoration time after discovery. Cannot be bought from Autoshow or sold on Auction House. See the

9 cars — one per region, no prereqs
Free, immediately driveable, no stamp or credits required. Cannot be sold on Auction House. See the

Festival Playlist (seasonal)
2 cars per week — time-limited
Exclusive cars earned by reaching Playlist Point milestones each week. Once a season ends, these cars can only be found on the Auction House. Missing them is permanent — they don't return to the Playlist on the same schedule.

DLC / Car Pass
30 cars (Car Pass) + DLC packs
Car Pass delivers one car per week from May 19 through December 8, 2026, then all 30 become redeemable at once. After December 2026, all Car Pass cars enter the Auction House pool. Patience saves money if you don't need them immediately.
Loyalty Reward cars — all 6
Players with previous Forza game history linked to their Microsoft/Steam account automatically receive these 6 cars on first launch. They cannot be purchased from the Autoshow and cannot be sold on the Auction House.

Claiming Loyalty Rewards
Rewards are claimed automatically on first launch. If your Forza history isn't linked properly, go to the Forza account page and manually link your Microsoft account. The Mercedes-AMG One (FH5 reward) is one of the best S2 cars in the game — make sure you claim it.

Launch DLC — Italian Passion Car Pack
The Italian Passion Car Pack is the first paid DLC released at launch. It includes four Italian performance vehicles not available through the standard Autoshow:
- 2021 Alfa Romeo Giulia GTAm
- 1990 Alfa Romeo SE 048SP
- 1967 Ferrari 275 GTB4 Spider
- 2025 Ferrari F80
DLC cars on the Auction House
DLC cars can be listed and bought on the Auction House — but only by players who own the same DLC pack. If you don't own the Italian Passion Car Pack, you cannot buy those cars even if they're listed. They'll appear greyed out in search results.
